Day 1: Entebbe-Kasese Transfer
Our driver will pick you from your hotel or lodge in Entebbe from where you will be transferred to your hotel or Lodge in Kasese. You will have your lunch en-route with a stopover at the Equator in Masaka.
Day 2: Ascend to Nyabitaba Hut
After your breakfast at your lodge/hotel in the morning, you will transfer to Nyakalengija where the Rwenzori mountaineering offices are found. Upon arrival in the morning, you will find your hiking equipment, porters, and guides ready. Then you will set off through farmland that will land you into the thick forest along the Mubuku River.
You will cross the Mahoma River tributary after which you will ascend to Nyabitaba hut via a quite big ridge. The hike offers opportunities to spot the blue monkeys, black and white colobus, and the colored Rwenzori Turaco. Noises of chimpanzees might be heard from a distance though you might not spot any during your hike.

Day 3: Ascend To John Matte Camp (3505m)
Early in the morning, you will set off from Nyabitaba to Kurt Shafer Bridge where you will continue through the bamboo forest. You will continue through the moss-covered rocks. Upon reaching Nyamuleju rock shelter, you will be rewarded with stunning views of Mount Speke and Mount Stanley. You will then continue to John Matte camp where you will have dinner and overnight.
Duration: 7-8 hours
Day 4: Descend To Nyakalengija Camp
Early in the morning; you will descend to Nyabitaba camp where you will have your lunch. After lunch, you will descend Nyakalengija camp where you will be spending your final night before transferring to Entebbe or Kampala the following day
Duration: 9-10 hours
Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe
Early in the morning, our driver will pick you from Nyakalengija camp and Transfer you to Entebbe. Breakfast will be en-route. You will have a late afternoon lunch in Entebbe at your lodge where your trip will end.
